Ever had a song come on the radio that you don’t care for? The obvious answer is YES. And, we get it it. Not all of our music is for everyone. But, one of our listeners—let’s call him John (not his real name!)—had some strong feelings about a certain band we play: REO Speedwagon.
“John” reached out saying he’ll no longer listen to me or Q 92.3…ever again. Now, I get it—it’s not possible to please everyone all the time. But, instead of just letting this slide, I invited him to come on the air and talk about it.
He agreed, but under two conditions:
- I couldn’t use his real name.
- I had to disguise his voice.
